AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): In attempt to showing logics behind state council and why BJP not supporting separate land, Tripura BJP indigenous leader Jishnu Dev Varma said on Monday that only Tipraland's signboard can't bring developments.
"Just think, once you get Tipraland, how many generations will be spoiled during the shaping-era of new state. But ADC needs quick recovery and state council is an ideal idea for it", Said Dev Verma in a BJP rally at Agartala.
"State council will have technical training, will get direct fund and own Colleges, Schools under it", Dev Verma added.
"ADC fund's 60 % goes for the salary division, 20 % goes for houses and just only 20 % left for development and hardly the last 20 % fund gets proper utilization", said the BJP leader.
"But under state council, the direct funding, education, technical trainings will be given for a faster development to the present ADC", Jishnu Dev Verma added.
"We asked IPFT to come with us leaving their separate land's demand. But if their aim was only development rather than separation they would have come", said Dev Verma.
