AGARTALA, Aug 8 (TIWN): 'Tripura Govt has sent letter to Centre asking to regularize the SSA teachers. Even yesterday also another letter was sent', said the SSA teachers under TCTEA.

When the hunger strike has exposed Tripura Govt led mass-looting teachers' salaries per month since 2010-11, the Govt via the TCTEA teachers said that regularization will be done as Tripura Govt is trying its best to regularize the contractual teachers.

Asking about the SSA teachers sat in hunger strike the teachers told media that both of our groups' demands are same, "but the way they protested it paralyzed schools in state. That is bad".

However, with this, chances are high that Tripura Govt may release the regularization notification of SSAs after the hunger strikers  via documents exposed how the teachers' salaries had been looted per month by Tripura Govt in the name of contractual teachers.

To the central govt Tripura Govt kept on saying since 2010 that SSAs are regular staffs just to draw the fund from Centre.
