AMARPUR / UDAIPUR, Aug 8 (TIWN): A housewife has been brutally tortured at Udaipur that left her with serious injuries at Udaipur Gomati Hospital.

Before 2 years as per social custom Amarpur resident  Marani Das gave her daughter Alorini Das’s marriage with Udaipur’s Sunil Sarkar’s son Litan Sarkar.

But after few days of their married clashed among family members began and torture upon  the newly married girl Alorini by her laws and husband went to the extreme level.

Recently, after Alorini asked few money for shopping, from her husband but instead of giving her, Litan in drunken condition beaten her very badly.

She was later hospitalized by local people and her mother was also informed.

From Maharani hospital, Alorini was taken to Gomati Dist hospital by her brother and family members immediately.

Talking Alorini’s family members they said many times local panchayat was informed about the activity of Litan Das and via Panchayat mutuality was also done between husband-wife, but Litan never changed.

An FIR has been lodged against Litan Das and his father Sajal Das at Udaipur Women PS.
