AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): On the holy accasion of Raksha Bandhan, Tripura RSS has conducted a rally in the morning.

“Raksha Bandhan symbolises the bond of humanity and survival”, said RSS members in Tripura.

Children also took active participation in that rally.

Since Sunday evening the celebration of Rakhi had begun. Nation’s soldiers were given rakhi by children to mark the holy occasion at Akhaura border.

Raksha Bandhan, or simply Rakhi is a Hindu festival, celebrated in many parts of the Indian subcontinent, notably India and Nepal. Raksha bandhan means "bond of protection".
