AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Congress has remembered the Chief Minister of Tripura Sachindra Lal Singh on Monday on his 110th birth anniversary.

In this regard floral tribute was paid to the former CM across Congress Bhawans in Tripura.

MLA Gopal Roy along with other Congress members remained present on that occasion.

Sachindra Lal Singh was a leader of the Indian National Congress and the first Chief Minister of Tripura state in northeastern India from 1 July 1963 to 1 November 1971. In 1977, he became the leader of the newly formed Congress for Democracy party.
