Tripura University whose rank has gone down in the last few years is facing massive criticism since its decision to postpone the exams. Various student organizations have protested against the decision and students statewide are protesting but the University has not taken any final decision. As a result, many College students are in tension as their admission chances in other Universities are stuck. Talking to the media, a student of the Ramthakur College said, "Our examinations were scheduled to be held on September 6. We demand our exams should be completed by that time.
