AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): Amid the controversy of Tripura Govt led deprivation to the unemployed youths for allowing other states' unemployed youths in the JRBT examinations, Trinamool Congress has alleged that over 17,000 candidates have appeared for the JRBT examination for the Group-C and Group-D posts. Trinamool West Bengal MP Dr. Santanu Sen said, "As per population Tripura is the second topper in unemployment rate. In this condition, what was the need of allowing other states' youths to appear in the JRBT exams ? We respect all states' people but first we have to feed ourselves and then only we can feed others ! Moreover, there are allegations of ill interest of the Govt behind the decision which needs to be clarified".
"We are surprised with the decision of the Govt. By allowing other states' people, Tripura Govt has directly fueled more unemployment chances further inside the state. PRTC should have been made mandatory but it was not done. It is not fair", said the MP.
