As a result, students are unable to prepare for their upcoming TET examinations and also their session period has ended. 2 years course is now taking 2.5 years which has generated massive resentment. The Director of Education earlier had assured the students that he would tell the students about the final decision taken by the State Govt by 14th August but as no solution came out yet, students gheraoed the Education office in protest. The petition was filed amid Tripura BJP Govt already lost face in Courts many times due to illegal police harassment of journalists, oppositions and commoners. Police had registered a suo-moto complaint on August 10 against 6 Trinamool leaders. At least 6 persons were seriously injured in Tripura on 75th Independence Day after BJP's organized attacks in various spots of South Tripura on Trinamool leaders, members which has generated panic.
