Job Drought : Graduates, Post Graduates | AGARTALA, Aug 20 (TIWN): Amid massive unemployment problems in Tripura, today in JRBT examinations, highly qualified youths have reportedly rowed up for Group-D posts. It shows Tripura's miserable condition and deprivation to the unemployed youths forcing graduates / post graduates to apply for Group-D and Group-C posts. TPSC examinations are almost stopped, Nurses, Doctors, even Ph.D holders are unemployed and for years there is no recruitment in various Departments. In such a crisis, Graduates and Master Degree holders were seen standing in rows for JRBT examinations. Tripura Govt in 2018 promising "New Recruitment Policy" for transparency had cancelled all ongoing recruitments and those cancelled examinations were not restored. Now, around 4000 Group-D, Group-C recruitment have been planned but various allegations have come out over the transparency of the exam procedure. Death Toll among 10323 Teachers Raised t | AGARTALA, Aug 19 (TIWN): Another tragic end of Tripura's terminated 10323 teacher has been reported raising the death toll among the deserted teachers to 106. The demised teacher is Birchandra Nama (58) resident of Udaipur Fulkumari Canel Chowmuhani area. He was a graduate teacher, is jobless since April 1st, 2020. Reacting on the death of the terminated teacher, Joint Movement Committee (JMC) member Kamal Deb said, "So far the death toll is at 106. We are really saddened due to the silence of the Chief Minister and Education Minister amid the crisis situation. High Court issued Notice to Tripura Govt | AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): Tripura BJP Govt has received a jolt at the very beginning of its plan to arrest Trinamool top leaders from Kolkata including MP Abhishek Banerjee in a politically motivated case registered against 6 Trinamool leaders on August 10. The case was lodged after TMC leaders were protesting against a brutal attack on their youth activists and illegal police arrest on August 8 at the Khowai PS. The TMC leaders also questioned the police asking why no arrests of BJP patronized attackers under the PS ? After that Trinamool youth activists got bails and two days after the case was lodged against the 6 Trinamool leaders for being in Khowai PS alleging they disrupted the police functioning. Challenging the FIR, the petition was filed with two appeals : 1) To Stop the police procedure and 2) To quash the FIR. On the first hearing day, Tripura High Court accepted the plea of stopping the final report submission and charge sheet submission by police until further order.
