AGARTALA, Dec 25 (TIWN): Nicknamed by fans and followers as 'Tiger' among the anti-communist figures of Northeast state Tripura, MLA Sudip Roy Barman has given a jolt to Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and his group by successfully installing Atal Bihari Vajpayee's statue in Cancer hospital, followed by a massive rally of the BJP activists. The rally organizers raised slogan "Jab tak suraj chand rahega Atal ji ap ka naam rahega.......BJP jindabad". MLA Sushanta Chowdhury, MLA Asish Saha were seen marching in the front of the rally. The issue is much important in Tripura's state politics in this 96th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Chief Minister Biplab Deb is facing mass rages from the majority of the BJP Party and on yesterday police arrested 3 persons for their attempts to install Atal Bihari Vajpayee's statue on his birth anniversary at the Cancer Hospital under the instruction of MLA Sudip Roy Barman. This action of FIR against Sudip Barman took place, although Sudip Barman had invited CM Biplab Deb to be the Chief Guest of the programme.

After the three decorators got bails after being arrested, an FIR against MLA Sudip Barman was filed in the NCC PS on yesterday. This incident has erupted massive resentment among the BJP Party workers. 

Today, amid FIR, a rally was organized till the hospital premise by the local voters and BJP workers and the person who filed FIR that is the Medical Super of the hospital was nowhere seen in the picture and he did not put any objection today. 

BJP Party activists have hailed MLA Sudip Roy Barman for gifting them this statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary.
