AGARTALA, Dec 23 (TIWN): On 17th day of mass-agitation at Agartala City Centre, the Supreme Court led terminated 10323 teachers have protested by covering their eyes with black cloths to symbolize that the justice system has become blind to the 10323 teachers issue either from legal ground or from humanitarian ground. The teachers who wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of India Sharad Arvind Bobde one day before his arriving day via High Court, today displayed banners 'Honourable Chief Justice of India, We also want to live', 'We are innocent, Save us' on his arriving day. The teachers already raised question, how in same case other teachers in science are regularized and rest of the 10323 teachers are terminated ? The teachers time to time raised various legal points before the Court but as from Govt side, support was not properly given, the teachers could not prove their points, said the agitating teachers.

The agitating teachers said that they believe, if the Judiciary wants, it can save these devastated lives who are now on road for 17 days long and are protesting for two times meals, their old parents, ill children are dying without treatments, children who were studying in private schools, taken to Govt schools. The teachers have appealed the Chief Justice of India to look at them and their problems, who are left devastated in the middle of the life's journey although during cases in High Court and Supreme Court, none of the teachers got any call from Court.

The teachers were terminated by Govt after Court spotted irregularities in recruitment. Now, the sacked teachers asked, what is their fault in this whole recruitment process ? They appeared in the interviews as conducted by the Govt. They had no other choice and so, how can they lose jobs when no recruitment corruption or nexus with teachers and the TRBT could be cited ?
