Dangerous Dacoity series in Agartala’s | AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): The theft pattern now is changing into robbery, leaving households injured during those operations. Tension triggered after Agartala’s two places witnessed dangerous robbery cases. The incidents took place in Aralia Ghosh Para’s Mihir Debnath and Baldakhal’s Sanjoy Pal houses. Cash, gold jewelleries have been looted from the houses and one senior citizen was injured in a sharp attack by the robbers' gang. In Aralia, house owner Mihir Debnath left injured critically after the robbers attacked him with a chopper. Total Rs. 40,000 cash and gold ornaments were looted. Tripura CM declares 5% DA hikes for Govt | AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday declared a 5% Dearness Allowance for the Tripura Govt employees and pensioners. The decision was cheered by BJP legislators in the Assembly with ‘Bharat Mata ki Jay’ slogan. While announcing the DA hike, Saha said, “Since our Govt came to power, we increased the DA in 3 phases. We provided 3% DA on 1-3-2021, 5% DA was given on 1-7-2022, 1-12-2022 we increased a 12% DA. When Covid hit the nation, many states stopped full salaries whereas we gave 3% DA. We started cash reward for LTC, means if people are not going out in LTC, they can claim the cash. Now, once again.
