‘Divide and Rule’ policy wi | AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): Division of country, division of states neither can be the permanent solution of communal tensions nor can bring peace to the nation which was experienced with the division of Hindustan and Pakistan before 70 years in the name of Independence. After 6 decades of India’s independence the country is facing major jolts in Kashmir, which proves that there was no need of partisan at all. Such clashes, fighting on the valley could be enjoyed by the politicians without partisan too, but then why the division was if it couldn’t end the Hindu / Muslim clashes ? Same in Tripura also, the political parties have been playing with the sentiment of separate state’s demand but the politicians have no aim behind their ‘lectures’ with tribal sentiments apart from ‘Holding the Power’. If CPI-M created ADC with Manik Sarkar’s promises in 1992 to ‘keep Tripura from Bangladeshi immigrants’ and to keep ADC untouched by Bengalis'--- it was just an appeasement of tribal sentiment to come in power. | 07-Sep-2017 |
