AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): Even the bus drivers got better senses than non-sense politicians of Tripura. While protesting against the Tribal / Bengali clashes ongoing in the state ahead of Election the drivers said, “India is an independent country. We all are equal and free to do our activities anywhere. Then what is this division among Tribal / Bengali ?â€
The issue was raised following an incident at Chankhala (on Khowai way) on Wednesday evening that left 2 people seriously injured.
Following a bike and car accident some local tribals allegedly attacked upon Bengali people that left a bus driver and a passenger injured. Driver Sanjoy Deb, Mithan Deb are now undergoing medical treatments.
“Our point is if this is an Independent Country then its Independent citizens should move as they wish. Why the disturbance in the name of Tribal / Bengali division ?”
This incident once more shows how the division was created among Tribal and Bengalis intentionally by various political parties of state Tripura just to come in power in various times.
Such clashes proves how politicians think ‘masses and fool and can be driven by sentiments from rallies to booths’.
