AGARTALA, Sep 5 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on teachers day asked guardians not to send their children in private schools. ‘I am surprised to see that day by day guardians are becoming more interested to send their children in private schools rather than govt schools. This is not right’, said Sarkar. ‘I am also surprise that the central govt is moving towards privatization of schools that’s drastically affecting the education quality. However, the Chief Minister failed to understand pathetic conditioned Govt schools didn’t mention even a single line about teacher crisis, lack of infrastructure in Tripura schools.CM was addressing at Rabindra Bhawan in the Govt organized programme. Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty, Bijita Nath were also present.

Govt schools in Tripura are in deplorable shape. From poisonous mid-day-meal to lack of basic infrastructure in everything students suffer in Tripura Govt. schools. CM has no time to visit those poor schools in office hours, but the same Chief Minister when invited by the elite class schools, can spend hours and hours of his valuable time there.

Sarkar blamed the central govt. prefers the privatization of Education just converting the Education into a business and giving in corporate hands. CM’ stand was strongly against Privatization and in support of Govt. school infrastructure upgradation.

CM also advised the teachers to teach them secularism but not to saffronize the children. Manik Sarkar claimed himself as 'Secular' and blames BJP, RSS for manufacturing Hinduism to create discrimination- - spent 3 hours in colourful occasion, where no charitable work was done by Missionaries apart from few singing & dancing & showing India a country of beggars rescued by Christian Missionaries.  Tripura CM always prefers to pray with folded hands at Christian Programmes and Buddhist  Temples but never in any Hindu Temples or programmes.
