CPI-M Govt's false propaganda continue : | AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Once again depriving the State Govt employees, Tripura Finance Minister has finally declared the much awaited Pay & Pension Committee’s decision of 19.68 % hike with 2.25 per FF (Basic and pay band together) in salary, with 125 % of DA increase from 88 % DA for both the Govt Employees as well as the pensioners. “We have given as much as possible within our limited capacity. Infact it’s a better offer than the 7th pay commission as Centre in 7th pay commission only hiked 14. 2 %". However, the budget instead of 600 crores have been hiked double, according to the Finance Minister. Addressing a press conference Finance Minister said, this will highly benefit the Govt Employees as well as the pensioners which is projected with various allowances including house rent, medical benefit (to be hiked from 250 to 500) and especially allowances for disables. The persons who are not getting promotions after 10 yrs, 7 yrs, 8 yrs of jobs will be benefited with this modified rules. The delay game of the state govt has vexed the 10,323 teachers as already it's the middle of June and after 6 months they will lose their jobs as per Supreme Court's direction. Tripura Govt's delay game till 2018 election with the 13,000 posts may turn heavy upon the Govt as the deprived 10,323 teachers will go in massive protest in soon if the teachers are not given jobs in other depts. Addressing a press meet, at Matangini Pritilala Hall, the 10,323 teachers said that while announcing those posts 13,000 non-teaching staffs state govt didn't mention clearly anything for whom those posts were created. Yearly recruitment under Health Dept de | AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Unemployed Nursing passed out students on Tuesday met Tripura Health Minister Badal Choudhury with the delaying of yearly recruitment process for the year 2017. Gathering infront of Health Minister Badal Choudhury's residence in the morning the unemployed youths alleged that every year in June-July session an interview call is conducted but this year the Govt yet to release advertisement for fresh interview. Already there are huge number of unemployed youths passed out nursing degrees and a year of 'no-recruitment' will double the unemployment rate further. The youths also said if the recruitment process is not started soon, then there will be massive protests in coming days. However, Badal Choudhury's Dept is alleged for delaying recruitment for the whole year as the Homeopathic doctors posts are left vacant since 17 years. Recently, in this regard the unemployed doctors placed deputation to Badal Choudhury on May 26. Moreover, in the month of May against the recruitment of pharmacists in the health dept in 2015, a case has been filed by unemployed deprived youths in Tripura. Had Tripura Govt accepted the first option and appointed 58 teachers in jobs, then today total 10,381 teachers (including 58 deprived youths) jobs would be safe. But due to Govt’s arrogance all the hapless teachers lost their jobs, neither those 58 unemployed youths got any job. Thus High Court this time did not go for any chance and directly ordered the state govt to appoint those 10 petitioners in jobs as per their position.
