AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): Whispers began in the High Court auditorium during Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's speech on the occasion of one E-Court project inauguration as he said, "The problems are many in Indian judiciary system leading various pending cases. Indian judges need to be more Educated for a better and faster judiciary system. The process of appointing judges must be modified to overcome such problems". "I think the judges across various courts including SC, HC need to be more qualified", said Sarkar. "Union Law Ministry should look after the issue". The programme was although centered with a Digital Mission via E-Court system launching, but CM said, "I am very-very ignorant about the system and particularly in this field, I have no knowledge. So any comment from me in this field will be totally foolishness." CM goes on about pending cases alleging there are many issues remained unanswered and the delay is going on.

Chief Minister's grudge against judiciary is however nothing new as earlier also CM had accused indirectly the then Chief Justice Dipak Gupta after the 10,323 teachers' case's hearing.

Even though State Govt was given an option to save the jobs of 10,323 teachers by providing  those 58 petitions job-offers as per their qualification, but CM said during Sonamura Court building inauguration, "Judicial system now snatching the food from people's mouth".

However, Manik Sarkar on Monday as the Chief Guest of the programme at High Court got an opportunity blame to the Union Law Ministry. But when Manik Sarkar's whole cabinet is piled up with 12 passed, Madhyamik passed Ministers, CM's comment about highly educated judges of India, raised laughter.

At the beginning of the programme, High Court Chief Justice T Vaiphei said, "I thank Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for giving us time amidst poll campaign time". May be Chief Minister was yet to digest the remark that led him to express his arrogance at the High Court premise agianst the judges.
