AGARTALA , June 12 (TIWN): Once again violence was reported from Sonamura subdivision with the recovery of a housewife's dead-body.

The victim has been identified as Ayesha Khatun, 45 years old. Her chopped body was recovered from Urmai area's Garbiya Dhepa.

Her husband Momin Mia has killed her, who is 60 years old, said police.

Although in his old age Momin Mia re-married but he was not taking proper care of the first wife.

When Ayesha raised voice, many times Momin Mia beat her and threatened her for killing, alleged local.

On Monday from a rubber garden her body was recovered by locals. Police have arrested Momin Mia.

The police report says, "On 12-06-2017 at about 1200 hours, following a altercation Mamin Miah(60) of Gabariadepha, PS-Sonamura murdered his 1st wife namely Asha Begam(45) at Gabariadepha (about 17 Km South from PS) by sharp cutting weapon and then fled away. He has 2nd wife namely Alia Khatoon (35). On this information Sonamura PS staff rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to hospital for PM examination. A specific case is being registered in this regard".
