BJP’s spectacular rise in North E | AGARTALA / GUWAHATI, March 27 (TIWN): Narendra Modi led BJP Tsunami wiped out Rahul Gandhi’s Congress to Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party in U.P. Elections after cascading affects in Goa, Manipur , Assam. Saffron Party’s success continue as people are fed up with decades old Congress to CPI-M’s rule which only produced mass poverty, unemployment and misery. However in Tripura’s context, State needs someone like Assam’s Sarbananda Sonowal type of dynamic leader who can steer BJP to poll victory in 2018 assembly elections. State BJP President Biplab Deb’s dismal performance so far failed to generate mass vote banks, even though RSS sakhas & Central observer Sunil Deodhar trying their best to babysit Biplab in various occasions. From fancy dressings to displaying arrogance to party workers, Biplab is burdened with many character negatives which Tripura voters maynot approve in 2018 election. Veterans in the RSS strongly believe that Manipur is just the beginning of the realisation of their potential in the hill states, and more is in store in coming years. The number of workers in Tripura has doubled in just a year, and with Assembly elections likely in February 2018, the BJP could give the ruling Left Front a run for its money but Biplab’s lack of leadership qualities remains a big question mark. | 27-Mar-2017 |
