AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Terrorists come in Tripura, pass vacations, but Tripura Govt keeps on claiming 'Zero-Terrorism' threat. Habib Mia's family members' claims about 'Habib never went to Bengaluru' was may be true as Habib's work was to supply arms and after the blast he sheltered the mastermind of the blast Sabahuddin at his own house in Agartala Jogendranagar. But question raises, who was Habib Mia? CPI-M Minority leader Ganu Mia's son and also former Upa-Pradhan and Municipality member. Habib himself was a CITU member. Ganu Mia, who is a leader of Tripura CPI-M Minority and Khetmajdur Union leader, resident of Jogendranagar. Not only this, Ganu Mia is the former Upa-Pradhan of Panchayat, presently Deputy mayor Samar Chakraborty’s 28 No. ward’s member. Habib Mia not only managed the logistical support to them, but he helped mastermind Sabahuddin to exile in Bangladesh via Tripura border and Tripura border earlier was open and presently also open for criminals.Apart from Habib Mia, 7 persons are there who already were jailed.
The court further convicted Mohammed Raza-ul-Rehman, Afzal Pasha, Mehboob Ibrahim, Miruddin Khan, Nizamuddin and Munna on charge of plotting the terror attack and waging war against the country, but acquitted another man charged with conspiracy.
According to sources, LeT operative Sabahuddin, one of the main accused in the attack who was arrested in 2008, had told the Bengaluru police about the help rendered by Mia, a native of Agartala. Mia had also allegedly helped Sabahuddin to travel to Bangladesh to plan the attack on IISc. “Sabahuddin claims to have come in contact with Habib in Agartala,” the source said.
Thus now it can be imagined how dangerous the Agartala city is becoming for the citizens where terrorists are meeting with each other, planning about Karnataka blast and after the work is done via free passage of Indo-Bangla border the criminals are exporting there
It’s worthy to mention here that a four member team has arrived in Tripura and reportedly, they will take them to Bengaluru by Saturday itself. With his arrest tension has gripped NE state Tripura for further terror threats in state. The Karnataka Anti Terror Squad (ATS) on Friday arrested a suspect here having links with the 2005 terror attack at Bengaluru's Indian Institute of Science (IIS) and he was produced before the court on Saturday.
But CPI-M’s nexus with terror groups ahead of Assembly Election may turn heavy upon CPI-M party. Earlier, China backed Terror group’s relation with CPI-M was suspected, but now JIHADI, HUJI all seems as CPI-M’s comrade.
