AGARTALA, March 27 (TIWN):“After a long 24 years of consistent ruling at Secretariat, Tripura CPI-M led State Govt and its bootlicking IAS officers have forgotten the difference between the role of Govt and role of Melarmath CPI-M party office”, claimed opposition BJP after Tripura Govt via a press releasetargeted Central Agriculture Welfare Minister for asking CPI-M Govt to provide proof for central fund utilizations.. State BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik raised question how as per constitution a state govt can raise finger against central govt'sorder ?CPI-M Party can do it, but not a State Govt but the press release proved that after long ruling the Secretariat has turned almost as a party office.

  In a press release by Govt of Tripura signed by Principal Secretary GSG Ayyangar reported that Central MinisterRadha Mohan Singh's claims were "Politically Motivated".

Reacting over this press release BJP claims Tripura CPI-MGovt is 100 % politicized, who never successfully submitted utilization certificate.

Also in clarification to the press release, BJP claimed, "Minister requested the state govt to utilize the unspent amount of Rs. 59.21 lakh without any delay so that remaining Soil Health Cards could be distributed to the farmers".

 "In the press release along with various calculations it was written, "regarding the opening of new KVSs in the newly four districts persuasions are being made since April, 2013 and after about 4 years of sanction only on 22nd February 2017. It is pertinent to mention here that 4 new districts were created in Tripura in the year 2011-12 only".

The notification also added, "In the fishery sector an amount of Rs. 10.23 crores were received in 2012-13, Rs. 9.03 crores in 2013-14, Rs. 11.11 crores in 2014-15. This was drastically reduced to Rs. 4.16 crores due to poor flow of fund under RKVY from 2015-16. During 2016-17 Rs. 12.58 crores has released including Rs. 8.67 crores under Blue revolution programme.

Ayyangar wrote “This mispresentation of facts by the Union Minister of Agriculture appears to be politically motivated".

Moreover, under the Fisheries Development Plan Scheme had provided an amount of Rs. 241.24 lakh during 2013-14, Rs. 54.89 lakh during 2014-15 and Rs. 361.96 lakh to Govt of Tripura during 2015-16. However, the Central financial assistance of Rs. 867.88 lakh has been released to the Govt of Tripura during 2016-17 under the Blue Revolution scheme. Besides, the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), Hyderabad under the MoA&FWhas also provided an amount of Rs. 179.61 in 2017.

Instead of the fund flow from Centre and 90 : 10 fund sharing option, Tripura State Govt via GSG Ayangar, Principal Secretary of Agriculture (also RD, Finance, MGNREGA) hit the Central Govt. Question raises, why being an IAS Officer and paid from the Centre, getting involved in fight between political parties and making bogus datas.
