Just on Wednesday Tripura Police arrested atleast 50 Congress supporters from Unakoti hospital premises after they demanded 100 % indoor service in that Hospital. Surprisingly, Tripura Health Minister in an attempt to cover up the issue not only along with his team visited the Hospital for the first time, but also announced about 100 % indoor service at the Hospital. The Dist Hospital although was inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar before 4 years, but no infrastructure was provided to the hospital premises. Anyhow few machines were illegally transferred from Subdivisional Hospital to the Dist Hospital. But all of a sudden, without any prior notice. Susheel Kuman, the Secretary Border Management under the Union Home Ministry said in 2016’s June month, “India has set a target of finishing the barbed wire fencing along the Indo-Bangla international border by 2017â€. Kumar, on a three-day tour on that time had visiting the barbed wire construction works in different parts of Tripura border with Bangladesh. Also on January 23, the in an attempt to submit reports about borders in Tripura to the Union Ministry Home Affairs (MHA) India-Bangladesh border status, the Madhukar Gupta Committee Chief Madhukar Gupta himself has arrived in Tripura. Police reportedly by force had arrested all the protesters and booked them to police station. Demanding a Homeopathic hospital and a Dist Hospital as well as indoor service inside the present Dist Hospital Tripura Pradesh Congress on Wednesday was scheduled to meet the Bhaganban Nagar Hospital Super named Dr. Satyajit Paul. But even after informing him in advance Dr. Satyajit was absent on that time and after waiting for long Congress supporters blocked the road near the Hospital. The protest was led by Dist Congress President Badrujjaman, General Secretary Rudhendra Bhattacharjee and NSUI leader Nirmal Malakar. As a part of protesting against the proposed Citizenship Bill- 2016, Tripura 3 regional parties : IPFT, INPT and NCT had aligned together named 'All Tripura Indigenous Regional Parties Forum' have gone for 12 hours strike on Wednesday. Due to Centre’s bold initiatives, farmers are getting benefitted, also ending decades of mass deprivation. The Centre has constituted a committee to achieve the target of doubling the income of farmers by March 2022, Parshottam Rupala, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, told the Lok sabha on Tuesday. In a written reply to a question, he also informed that a survey finding could not establish any significant adverse effect of demonetisation on input availability, market arrivals of produce and area sown in the Rabi season. We are next planning to increase train speed upto 100 KM per hour and NE trains will be equally felicitated with high speedâ€, said Prabhu. At North Tripura many children left on the verge of death also. With the initiative of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare which was launched under the banner of the 'National Deworming Day-2016’ it was ordered to cover students under deworming tablet administering and following that schools were provide with deowrming tablets. It was also mentioned that the treatment with a simple pill is universally recognized as a safe and cost effective solution. But the tablets left the children seriously ill and many remained affected for a long time after consuming the tablet. But what was the reason behind this incidents nobody knows. Tension prevails after massive fire engu | AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): Short circuit in a shop at Ambassa has damaged a major part of the market. Reportedly, all of a sudden fire flamed up in a small shop but within few minutes it gutted other shops too. Immediately the Fire Brigade was called by the local people, but it was not in time. The incident reported at around 3 PM, whereas the Fire Brigade came half and hour late. After that more 3 Fire Brigade vehicles were arranged and with the damage of 10 shops the fire brought in control. 5 people were slightly injured when they were running to and fro to save their lives. But no causality has been reported from that incident. At the primary level the local people took the main initiative to control the fire.
