AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): Since Tripura High Court was established in 2013, Tripura Govt have been received one after one notices from the Court for violating the recruitment policy. Such incidents had multiple times proven the continuous defiance of various job related policies under Tripura Govt, which helped in filling up of TCS, TPS vacant posts with CPI-M family members. Reportedly, Tripura High Court has cancelled the ongoing TCS Grade-II & TPS exams. HC further noticed the Govt to publish the advertisement within 7 days with needed corrections.Thus in a notification on Thursday TPSC declared---- with the references of Commission’s Adv. No. 04 /2016 dated 30.04.2016 & Notification dated 07.11.2016…..’It is for information of all concerned that in pursuance of the judgement & order dated 07.02.2017 of the High Court of Tripura in WP ( C ) 1166 of 2016 the Preliminary Examination for recruitment to the post of TCS Grade-II and TPS Grade-II (Group-A Gazetted) under GA (P & T) Dept. Govt of Tripura scheduled to be held on 12.02.2017 (Sunday) has been deferred until further notification...'

Reportedly, on last 1^st May-2016 under Tripura Lokseva Ayog TCS Grade-II and TPS Exam’s advertisement was given and within June 1^st the interested Candidates were to apply. There were 30 seats for TCS Grade-II where for SC 6 seats were reserved for ST 11 seats were reserved. However among 11 ST seats 2 were reserved for the physically handicaps.

In the TPS Exam there were 15 seats in total, among them 3 were for SCs, 5 were for STs and 7 kept for general. After that notification,a physically handicapped named Prabir Dutta filed a case in HC as in both the cases the physically handicapped candidates were deprived.

As per 1995’s act for handicaps 3 seats would be reserved for handicaps. Prabir Dutta raised question how Tripura Govt can mix their seats with SC or STs?

This news has created much resentment among the job aspirants in Tripura.
