NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, Feb 7 (TIWN): Trinamool’s voice against Rose Valley chit fund & the demand of proper investigation is only going around Tripura, whereas at West Bengal they all are silent seeing one after one TMC leaders are getting arrested there. Whereas CBI is known as an independent organization, but after it arrested TMC leaders one by one since Madan Mitra’s time, TMC put all blames on the Central Govt behind the arrests. Neither TMC is ready to accept that CBI is correct nor the party will suspend any of their chit fund accused members. Even in the last Lok Sabha vociferous protests from both sides created pandemonium in the on Friday, forcing the Speaker to adjourn the house for the day. Whereas CPI-M Govt in Tripura is too afraid about CBI inquiry against Rose Valley, on the other hand the it never showed any interest to continue proper investigations against chit fund groups. After 8 years of the Rose Valley scam was held, when CBI inquiry threat began to haunt CPI-M then it seized the property of Rose Valley whereas no action has been taken against other chit fund groups.

Apart from Rose Valley there are many chit fund companies as Cosmic, Waris Group and many more which have been sold already to public, but the Govt never seized them. But surprisingly TMC in Tripura is silent about all these, although crores of public fund was looted by those companies too.

SIT had failed to submit charge sheet on July 31st  at High Court, but from Govt side there is no interest to hurry up the issue.

If the State Govt tell the centre that SIT is  properly investigating Rose Valley and other chit fund cases, the Centre also can not send CBI in Rose Valley inquiry. However, in later after SIT’s failure the High Court can also transfer the investigation responsibility to CBI.

On Feb 3, after the two adjournments, when the house met at 1 p.m., Speaker Sumitra Mahajan allowed the Trinamool Congress leader Saugata Roy to raise the arrests of party MPs Sudip Bandopadhya and Tapas Paul by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the Rose Valley chit fund scam but members from the treasury benches started protesting against this. Accusing the central government of vendetta politics, Roy alleged that the CBI was being used as a tool against the opposition leaders.

This prompted the treasury benches members to protest the Trinamool leader's remarks.
Mahajan urged the members to allow the house to function smoothly during Question Hour and asked them to raise their issues later. But the MPs kept shouting slogans. This prompted the Speaker to adjourn the Lok Sabha till noon.

After the house reassembled, Mahajan disallowed the adjournment notices given by various members, including Saugata Roy and J.P. Yadav of the Rashtriya Janata Dal.

The opposition members again rushed towards Speaker's podium and started shouting slogans. Amid the din, Mahajan adjourned the house till 1 p.m. Before the house assembled, the Trinamool members staged a protest near Mahatma Gandhi's statue in the Parliament complex against the arrest of their MPs.

The SIT investigation against Chit Fund companies are moving utter rudderless in Tripura as after 8 years of the property seized no proper data could be gathered till now. On last Feb 2nd the North Tripura Rose Valley property was seized, where the cost of the land alone worths more than crores, other items including computers were seized more than 30s from there, but all are in vain as the computers had no hard disks. Same the condition of other offices either at Amarpur or at Agartala, which has delayed the investigation process.
