AGARTALA, May 20 (TIWN): Till now, the opposition party CPI-M was alleging that their elected MLAs can not visit in their own constituencies but proving the allegation a truth, IPFT Minister NC Debbarma also asked the same question after he was attacked in Jampuijala yesterday. He blasted the state administration for its total failure to set a 'Rule of Law'. The Minister after facing attack in the same style like the opposition party MLAs were facing in this state, has commented that the state has no control over hooligans and no ' 'Rule of Law" is  existing. The senior IPFT leader cum Minister is 85 years old and the most senior in age in the State cabinet. Minister N C. Debbarma was in a meeting about local area development and then all of a sudden a group of people with black flags reached the spot and raised 'go back' slogan. Though police were present on spot but the people gathered breaking social distancing and Covid laws in front of police. Minister NC Debbarma said, "Though we controlled the situation, nobody was caught from the spot. What does it mean ?".
N.C.Debbarma has accused TIPRA Motha party behind the attack and said, "I am ready to be killed by anti-social element...let them kill me, I don't need any security in my land". "Since the election was ended, TIPRA Motha started uncontrolled violence and that level of violence I never saw in my entire life. I am 85 years old now ! Govt must control the deteriorating law and order as state has lost Rule of Law", NC Debbarma told media after the incident.
