The victim took loans from Bandhan Bank and L&T Finance. At together today two installments' dates were given to him, but as he couldn't collect the amount, he has chosen suicide as the last option. Locals have alleged, due to lack of income, ongoing work crisis many families are unable to bear the burdens of loans. CM advises youths to buy-cows, rear-cows | AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): Amid Chief Minister Biplab Deb's Cow Rearing advise to jobless youths and his announcement to rear cows at CM's quarter to motivate the youths, crores of embezzlement has been reported from State's milk dairies. It has been alleged that Indranagar milk dairy which has been well known for the quality of products, BJP-IPFT Govt has grabbed the company. The milk dairy was under Tripura Milk Union and the state was progressing towards developing milk industry, but after 3rd March the old board members were forced to resign and a new Board was constituted. On July month a new Board was formed and the chairman of the committee is Samir Das. However, according to the old committee members, at least Rs.16 crores of savings were there in the farm but as soon as the new Board was constituted, huge corruptions were started. It has been alleged that without maintaining any rules, from a Karnataka company at least 150 metric ton powder milk was bought. Tripura celebrates Diwali with fervour : | AGARTALA, Nov 7 (TIWN): People all across Tripura celebrating the two-day long Diwali festival. Children, youths, grownups on Wednesday plunged into the festive fervour of Diwali celebrations, carrying on with their joyous mood of Kali Puja observed across the state a day ago.In the evening, children and youths are celebrating Diwali with fire crackers, whereas girls and elders lighted candles or 'diya' (earthen lamps). Pandals were set up and decorated with various colourful materials and decorative items. Kids and youth were witnessed busy in lighting fire crackers and put diyas in the house premises. People across the state woke up early, wore new clothes and performed prayers at home to mark the festival of lights. This was followed by another round of cracker explosions. People where witnessed, lightening Diyas and Chinese lights to decorate their house, many club committees have set up pandals to celebrate Kali Puja. On Wednesday morning to see traditional "Kumari puja", thousands of devotees gathered at Indranagar Joy Ma Kali Sangha, where Kumari Puja is held every year by according to Hindu rituals scripted for Kali Puja. Since early morning devotees thronged the premises of the Indranagar Kali temple to offer prayer to Goddess kali and observe kumara puja. This mould is the most powerful form of Mahashakti. A girl aged one to sixteen, symbolising the Kumari form of Devi and is worshipped in front of the idol of Goddess kali. City cops detained one infamous thief wi | AGARTALA, Nov 6 (TIWN): Agartala cops have detained one infamous thief after he along with another miscreant had snatched one necklace today from a woman Namita Pal, W/O-Dulal Chandra Pal in morning walk times from Joypur area by showing sharp weapon and injuring here. Tripura, Bengal celebrate annual Diwali | AGARTALA, Nov 6 (TIWN): Bengal, Tripura are celebrating auspicious Deepabali (Kali Puja) on November 7. Along with Tripura other Northeast states are also celebrating Diwali festival in full enthusiasm. In Agartala and other corners of the state music, songs are being played with loud speaker. Traffic movements have been restricted in busy areas of the towns to control the traffic jams. In Udaipur Chief Minister Biplab Deb is scheduled to inaugurate the Diwali festival for the year. Apart from temple, clubs from house-to-house celebrations are going on in full wave. Some people use decorated light candles, some decorated diya or clay lamps, and other decorative lights and put them in their windows for the festival. All celebrate this occasion in their own way.
