AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki quite ignorantly has mentioned Tripura a land of 'peace' and people here are much positive.

Governor's statement was delivered by Chief Minister Biplab Deb when he was addressing in Kali Puja at Dharmanagar, North Tripura.

Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki had taken oath on August 25 after the previous Governor Tathagata Roy joined as the Governor of Meghalaya.

Kaptan Singh Solanki is the Governor of Tripura and an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Since August 2009 he is the member of the Parliament of India representing Madhya Pradesh State in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house until May 2014. He studied at Vikram University, Ujjain, P.G.B.T.
