AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): With a major development, one gang leader of bike lifter namely Bimal Das(34) S/O Abani Das of Raju Nagar, West Agartala was arrested red handed by staff of Amtali PS near TMC hospital Hapania with one black pulsar bike bearing No. TR 01 AB 9118.

He revealed names of other gang members as Animesh Majumdar of Joy nagar and NDPS. Qayyum of Phutia, PS- Kalamchoura. Yesterday night the gang had allegedly stolen 6 bikes from town. He will be handed over to st PS as the bike was stolen from Agartala city limits.

This year Amtali PS have recovered 17 stolen bikes and 2  four wheelers and made 11 arrests of  accused bike lifters.
