'Secularism can't be argued in Independent India', says Congress

AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): Congress has tuned "secularism" on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day.
Congress President of Tripura unit Birjit Sinha said, it should not be forgotten that the base of our constitution is secularism and without secularism our country can not go ahead.
The Congress President further said, it also "Unity amid diversity is our pride. If the unity is broken, India will lose its glory", he added.
Boosting Congress Govt ruled since Independence in India, he said, "India is world-famous due to Congress Govt's good governance. The Govt made the people able to stand on their feet. We reached the sky, we invented satellites. People in India were very poor and from there country today is efficient in food", Sinha said.
