BSF Officer Dipak Kumar Mandal's murder case, which is the darkest chapter of Tripura's history, exposed rampant cattle smuggling activities via Sonamura border of Tripura. But after the murder incident of BSF Deputy commandant oof 145-Bn on November-2017, the case had almost dumped under files under the Left Govt's regime. But with the change in the administration, police dept relived with a space from political interference and able to take role as an independent institution. Tripura's Women assaulting incident at B | BISHALGARH, March 24 (TIWN): Country-wide condemnations have started after Tripura's two women were assaulted openly in Bishalgarh markets. However, additional stories are trying to add that those women 'deserved' it, whereas the reality is exactly what people have seen. Just one person Tapan Kumar Saha was arrested in the incident whereas there were at least 6 to 7 people came in camera while beating the two sisters in front of women police. Earlier, four persons were taken for interrogation, but today Bishalgarh Women Police Station has confirmed only one person has been arrested so far. Noteworthy, these two women in Tripura were beaten, assaulted on yesterday in Bishalgarh market. A businessman Swapan Saha was the main accused in the incident, but police have named Tapan Kumar Saha for being arrested. In 2014 massive controversies sparked following the Asst Professor's recruitment and now once again the issue to be highlighted in the High Court which may turn the fate of the Asst professors just like 10323, if found irregularities. It was just a direct recruitment without following basic guidelines. On that time straight allegations raised against the authority for recruiting professors at the exchange of heavy cashes with the selection board. Not only this, question also raised regarding the validness of the board members' qualifications, who had taken the interview. TPSC Corruption mars Tripura Engineering | AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): Corruption, lack of transparency have gripped each Govt Dept. of Tripura under the system via TPSC selection. It’s about a job interview conducted by TPSC in 2016, in which TPSC going against all kinds transparencies published the final result. Tripura Engineering Service (TES) which is also conducted by the TPSC left in same condition just like TPS, TCS and Agriculture, Medical Depts. Recruiting engineers in RD or PWD, either regular or on fixed basis, TPSC has been suffering from ‘lack’ of public faith. For example, TPSC issued one TES notification on January 2016 but the TPSC did not notify the date when it will take the written exam. Candidates applied for those posts and submitted their resumes, but the date was delaying in publishing.Suddenly violating the trends, instead of giving at least 2 months to the candidates for preparation, TPSC called for an interview just before 33 days of the exam which left the students without any time for preparation. | 24-Mar-2018 |

After 25 years of a same Govt ruling, the state Assembly became a 'sleepy-session' and it was expected that after the Govt changes things will be changed, but leaders have changed in the Assembly but attitudes inside the Assembly hardly changed.
