AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): "Tripura BJP Govt will make a realistic budget, whereas the former govt never increased the budget with practical outlook", said Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma.

"We have already placed our economic tight situation before the public, which was a result of expenditure without calculation under the previous govt. We have taken initiative to create practical budget. Earlier, whereas the budget estimate 159561.56 cores that budget after modifying was found as 142971.00 crores", said Dy CM in the Assembly.

"BJP Govt is aimed to make a 'Swacch-Govt', a corruption free Govt. A state can't develop without law and order and in each fields we are aimed to build a corruption-free system and to set a rule-of-Law", added JishnuDebbarma . In last 25 years only the administration took no initiative for development and political inference had sluggish the progress", he said.

However, their Govt already announced that apart from Central Govt led helps, it will aimed to generate revenue and to maintain a balanced expenditure from now onwards to overcome Rs. 11.50 crores of debts.

Earlier in a press conference, JishnuDebbarma said, "The Left Govt was expending at its own wish without any balance maintenance. The economy is mostly suffering due to non-plan expenditures". However the Govt has found 3 ways to shape the economy which are : 1) Balanced Expenditure, 2) Revenue Generation, 3 ) Asking Central Govt for help etc.

“The previous Govt has given us nothing, rather it has burdened the 38 lakhs people under debts but BJP Govt will never give up. Even though they left hills of works upon us, but we will fulfill all promised works", said Debbarma.
