AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): Corruption, lack of transparency have gripped each Govt Dept. of Tripura under the system via TPSC selection. It’s about a job interview conducted by TPSC in 2016, in which TPSC going against all kinds transparencies published the final result. Tripura Engineering Service (TES) which is also conducted by the TPSC left in same condition just like TPS, TCS and Agriculture, Medical Depts. Recruiting engineers in RD or PWD, either regular or on fixed basis, TPSC has been suffering from ‘lack’ of public faith. For example, TPSC issued one TES notification on January 2016 but the TPSC did not notify the date when it will take the written exam. Candidates applied for those posts and submitted their resumes, but the date was delaying in publishing.Suddenly violating the trends, instead of giving at least 2 months to the candidates for preparation, TPSC called for an interview just before 33 days of the exam which left the students without any time for preparation.

However, the exam was held on September 2016 and following the exam it took at least 5 months time to publish the result of written exam .

During the viva, candidates were asked some absurd questions and almost all the failed candidates were given 20-25 marks out of 50 marks.

There were 32 unreserved seats for civil engineers  and allegations raised that only 10-12 candidates got the job based on their merit basis.

Moreover,  almost 70 % candidates were from private colleges and TPSC only published the marks of passed candidates .

There were 3 written papers( 200+200+100 ) and 50 in interview , TPSC published total marks of the successful candidates out of 550  but nobody knows how many marks they got in paper 1 , paper 2 and paper 3 and interview respectively .

There was a criterion that unreserved candidates has to get 40% in each paper if they want to qualify the written exam but due to lack of transparency it never became clear whether the passed candidates could cross 40% in each paper criterion because only total marks of them got published .
