CPI-M says 'Ready to give BJP-govt time to fulfill promises'

AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar said, CPI-M is ready to allocate enough time to BJP for fulfilling their promises according to their Vision Document.

"CPI-M will be a emerged a strong, constructive opposition in Tripura in coming days, but we have to give them the time to accomplish their works", said Dhar.

Dhar was addressing after the state committee meeting was ended at Melarmath. Right now CPI-M is trying to bring back the CPI-M workers in the main stream as according to CPI-M, many of their party workers are unable to return homes due to post poll violence.

 "Hundreds of youths are homeless, many were bound to leave the state. At rural areas, Panchayat CPI-M workers are forced to resign. Yesterday Udaipur Municipal Corporation chairman was attacked and same happened at South Tripura.  An abnormal situation is going on across the state, even auto drivers from CITU are not allowing to continue their work", Bijan Dhar said.

"Our national leaders are also with us. CPI-M state committee meeting, we have condemned such incidents led by IPFT and BJP. What can be the result of Cholo-Paltai it's now visible", he said.
