Contempt of Court Case against Tripura G | AGARTALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): In a contempt case against Tripura Govt filed by SSA teachers, High Court has ordered regularization of SSA teachers within 4 weeks. The contempt case was filed by SSA teachers as even after 6 months of the deadline crossed, Tripura Govt had not regularized the SSA teachers after the High Court ordered the Govt to regularize the teachers within 6 months. Against the violation of the High Court's order the SSA teachers again knocked the High Court's door through a contempt petition which has been filed against the Govt. However, on being asked, Tripura Govt reportedly sought some more time to regularize the teachers and accordingly the Court has given another month to the State Govt. Though the Education Dept officials who formed the recruitment policy or violated the recruitment policy were not brought under investigation, the teachers who got the jobs under the procedure lost jobs due to unfair job recruitment / irregularities in recruitment. Briefing about the programme, Joint Movement Committee member Bijoy Krishna Saha on Saturday evening asked all teachers to remain present tomorrow at 10 am in front of Agartala City Centre. On 13th August BJP MLA Biswabandhu Sen who is also the Deputy Speaker of Tripura Assembly passed a violent remark at Dharmanagar before SDM office. He threatened Government employees in a public space that they should be beaten and their bones should be ‘broken into pieces’ if they do not do work properly and raise demands from time to time. All the Covid protocols were followed and only limited numbers of people had joined the programme and there was a gap between each chair. Tripura Govt Continues Violating High Co | AGARTALA, Sep 3 (TIWN): Tripura Govt who promises to regularize all contractual employees, yet to regularize the SSA teachers even after regularization order was given by Tripura High Court. Like Science teachers, Tripura Govt is bound to regularize the SSA teachers under the High Court's order but the Govt is yet to take any final decision over the regularization process. On August 24, the contractual SSA teachers who were promised to be regularized in the next cabinet meeting that is today, broke down in tears out of frustration after they came to know that they were not regularized even today,although the cabinet meeting is over. Ratan Lal Nath had promised the teachers on Aug-20 to make them regularized after the next Cabinet meeting which was on August 24. The High Court had ordered to regularize the teachers within 6 months but 6 months have gone already amid no regularization announcement has come out.
