AGARTALA / UDAIPUR, Sept 6 (TIWN): After three & half years of dictatorship & JUMLA cheating to Tripura people, massive scams like Cancer drug scam, Foreign liquor license scam, NH scam now BJP Govt. has come up with another evil plan to destroy the 500 years heritage of Mata Tripureswari Temple. BJP Government has reportedly planned to flatten the two third of temple’s revered ‘Kurmapeeth‘ (Tortoise shaped Hill on which main temple is built) which will completely destroy two third of traditional "Kurmapeeth" of Matabari.

The project on Matabari ‘Kurmapeeth’ flattening that has been introduced by State BJP Govt not only includes flattening the temple premises but also making it a park of artificial tortoise that will attack directly on the 500 year old legacy of State's most revered temple.

For doing this project the Central has sanctioned  Rs. 38 crores approximately which can indeed be a luscious deal for BJP Govt and its corruption-friendly officials. After this evil plan came into to light, massive resentments has been brewing among the devotees who's believes and sentiments are strongly attached to the heritage of Mata Tripureswari temple.

Already Govt contractors & local BJP MLA Biplab Ghosh put out Red flags marking the border to bulldoze Matabari ‘Kurmapeeth’s two third hilly area. Kurmapeeth’s (hilly area shaped as tortoise) destruction is against Hindu religious ‘Sastras’ & Pithatantra.

Such Taliban style initiatives by state BJP govt to destroy Matabari's 500 years heritage and history with the sole aim to make crores of corruption money made the common people loose hope on this Government. Tripura's BJP government has already lost major popularity in past three & half years of their rule  and now such initiatives are only making sure the reply of common people on 2023's assembly election.
