DHANPUR, Sep 6 (TIWN): After preventing BJP from its attempt of stopping CPI-M rally, former CM Manik Sarkar has called the CPI-M party workers "Heroes" an "Heroines" for joining the rally. He asked CPI-M to follow today's incident if they face any similar attack in future.
Sarkar stated that the party members of Dhanpur have not only set an example for local areas but it's a message to the whole state. Manik Sarkar further asked CPI-M across the state to follow the same path against undemocratic attacks of the BJP.
Tension erupted after BJP attacked Manik Sarkar's convoy and police tried to stop CPI-M's rally.
Police then urged Manik Sarkar not to walk further as the law and order issue can be erupted. Then Manik Sarkar asked police to arrest him but as Police did not do this, CPI-M workers broke police's barricade and walked a massive rally and successfully held the programme.
