AGARTALA, Sep 5 (TIWN): TMC veteran leader Panna Deb was arrested by Police in a suicide case of a woman who had been suffering from ‘Mental Illness’. BJP women wing rushed to the spot immediately after her death and started shedding crocodile tears. BJP Mandal members allegedly attacked on Panna Deb in the crematorium, but today after Panna Deb's arrest, deceased's mother gave statement that Panna Deb is the person who has been taken care of her whole family for a long time and her daughter who committed suicide was a mental patient.

Recently on 3^rd September the 30 years old woman named Rajasree Deb, D/o- Tapan Deb had committed suicide by hanging self in a tree at Indranagar Kabarkhala area. A suicide note was recovered where the deceased had accused against TMC leaders Panna Deb, Mukul Deb and Putul Deb behind her suicide reason. The deceased is the relative of Panna Deb and others. 

Centering this Suicide case today East Agartala PS Police arrested Panna Deb. Police did not allow the veteran leader Panna Deb to talk before media and dragged forcefully to Police vehicle.

However, after the death of Rajasree, her family alleged she had been suffering from ‘Mental Illness’. Her family also said that no case was registered against Panna Deb but police arrested her most likely on suo moto case.
