'Our Jobs had never Gone' : 10323 JMC

AGARTALA, Sep 4 (TIWN): 10323 Joint Movement Committee has requested Tripura Govt to review the verdict on 10323 teachers case which they claimed that can restore their jobs.

"Our jobs are not gone ! It was never gone. If the State Govt wants, it can solve the problems now. We will also see its end. Let us see, how far the Govt can test our patience..........", said the teacher.

10323 Teachers will organize a programme on Teacher's Day tomorrow at City Centre, Agartala. Briefing about the programme, Joint Movement Committee member Bijoy Krishna Saha on Saturday evening asked all teachers to remain present tomorrow at 10 am in front of Agartala City Centre.

A rally will be conducted in this regard and then speeches will be delivered.

Talking to the media, Bijoy Krishna Saha said, "We were teachers but today due to State Govt's negligence we are on road. We were never terminated but we have been dropped from our works under deep intrigues against us. The Chief Minister and Education Minister have failed to keep their promises given to us and on the other hand, we are trying to fight legally. Our fight is for our teaching profession and we want our previous jobs' back. Our message tomorrow also will be the same, that is the Givt must give back our jobs and rectify the misinterpretation of the Court's verdict due to which we have been considered as terminated".

JMC member Kamal Deb said, "We have no fault but the govt has removed us from school by doing intrigue. We want to go back to the schools as teachers. We request all terminated teachers to come to Agartala and to observe Teacher's Day. It will be the second teacher's day since our termination".
