Students' protest led by NSUI was held in Agartala yesterday and a heavy number of participants were seen in the protest. The angry students blocked the road from the City Centre to the Post Office Chowmuhani area. Later police arrested all the students and cleared the road. Students started protests after the Madhyamik result was published. Over 20% of students failed even though no examination was held due to Covid-19. So the students demanded "pass for all".
Students demanded, as no exam was held, so all the students had to be passed this year. Also the deprived students alleged result-scam and deprivation.
