3 Days Old Baby’s Death incident | AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): 3 days old baby who died allegedly in heavy negligence in Tripura’s biggest Govt hospital – GB hospital on August 12, 2020 although had shaken the whole state but Tripura Govt has totally failed to take any action or to conduct a proper investigation to the case. Today, baby’s mother Papia Kar, W/O-Diptanu Saha, resident of ONGC, Hapania area has filed FIR in the NCC PS against Dr. Rajib Debbarma seeking justice to the issue. The family will next go the Court for the next proceeding of legal action. Talking to media after lodging FIR, the victim mother Papia Kar stated, “The baby whole day was healthy, cried and smiled but suddenly Doctor came and said that COVID-19 test is necessary for the baby. I on spot asked him not to do as it’s a little baby and it can’t take it. It may have breathing problem. The ruling State BJP Govt in power, had promised verbally and in Vision Document that the teachers will get permanent jobs or continue as teachers before 2018 Assembly Election but now already 5 months are running but BJP Govt could not solve the problems of the teachers. TPSC yet to announce the date of viva-vo | AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) allegedly is not conducting Viva-voce i.e. the oral examination of candidates who has been declared to be selected by the Commission on the year 2016. The date was selected on September 1 of the running year. But due to the COVID-19 outbreak the Commission have postponed the date for an indefinite period.However, TPSC is conducting various other examinations during this time, including taking viva-voce of the 140 Sub-In-spector candidates that is scheduled to be concluded on August 28.The selected candidates have raised questions on the role of TPSE. BJP, CPI-M’s Political Clash hits | SABROOM, Aug 26 (TIWN): CPI-M, BJP’s massive clashes were reported from few parts of the state centering August 26’s protest programme, about which CPI-M announced earlier. Centering the protest progarmme, in Sabroom’s Rupaichari also CPI-M members were conducting a peaceful protests and leaders were delivering speeches but suddenly BJP activists came with flags and held attacks on them, asking them to go back home. In this situation, CPI-M reacted immediately and countered the attack, resulting a bloody clash occurred between two parties, generated much tension in the area.
