AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): In a historic manner, Tripura police left with no choices infront of large number of CPI-M supporters except releasing the top leaders who were been arrested by police from the CPI-M’s rally today. Police's neutral role-played has won hearts.

On Wednesday, CPI-M organised protest rally across the State. The huge red-force led by  ex-CM Manik Sarkar turned larger than the expectation. Thousands of people joined the rally and walked along on the heart of the capital Agartala. But the surprising thing that the whole Tripura witnessed today is when even the Tripura police’s hundreds of attempts failed infront of the dedication of the CPI-M supporters.

The West police led by SDPO Shasvat Kumar arrested the top leaders and was taking them to the Police station by bus.But the CPI-M agitatorsstopped the bus and bought back the leaders including the former CM Manik Sarkar and the3 bus remaind unmoveable due to the mass gathering. The first time in the history, even the large police force surrendered infront of the red-force and let the leaders go.
