Tripura Teachers Protested against death | UDAIPUR / AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): A post graduate teacher Abhijit Dey died after miscreants had beat him up in Udaipur. Abhijit Dey was beaten up by goons led by BP leader Pankaj Karmakar centering a text exchange between a student and Abhijit Dey regarding an educational aspect after the student asked Abhijit Dey for a response. But centering this, Pankaj Karmakar called Abhijit Dey and then called his wife and in front of his wife, Pankaj Karmakar was beaten up. 26 Injured in Terrible Bus Accident on U | AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Two buses crashed with each other in Udaipur-Amarpur road which has left many people injured. The incident happened in the Gandhari area and at least 26 persons were critically injured due to the incident. As per the report, on the way from Korbook to Agartala, a passenger bus hit another bus that was on its way to Jatanbari from Agartala. Out of the 26 injured persons, 2 are critical. The injured persons were rescued by the Fire Brigade and taken to Amarpur Hospital. Children are also included among the injured people. 2 critically injured persons were referred to other hospitals for better treatment.
