AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN): A broiler chicken farm called SS Breeding has been established in Bagarachatal area near Madhuban near Sri Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram and Madhuban Rishipara near the capital city of Agartala.

But the farm adjacent to Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram was established many years ago and another farm was established by the same owner in Bagarachatal area adjacent to Rishipara few half years ago.

While setting up the farms, the owner assured the local residents that no foul smell would spread in the area. But few months after setting up the farms, stench from the farms spread to the entire area. Even after informing the owner of the farm several times about the problem of people in the area due to stench, no action was taken.

He also strongly condemned the unintended incidents. He also complained that even after complaining against the accused to the administration, the police administration is not taking any action against them.
