AGARTALA, Aug 11 (TIWN): With inflammation of Bangladesh’s sensitive issue which erupted since Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled from the country, Tripura police are keeping sharp eyes on the social media posts. West SP Kiran Kumar told media that for an audio clip, two persons have been arrested and more actions to be taken. The statement came from SP Kiran Kumar after Tripura Rajya Hindu Samaj's rally permission was scrapped and the agitators alleged a "Conspiracy" behind it. The agitators gathered at Agartala Railway station and planned to walk a rally up to Astabal stadium. “We wanted to hold the rally from Astabal stadium but failed to do so because we were not permitted. In Bangladesh, minority Hindus are attacked and we wanted to voice against it," said an agitator.
"It was estimated over 10,000 people will gather at Astabal stadium,” he said.
In this regard, SP Kiran Kumar said, no rally permission would be provided now as the issue is sensitive.
“We are keeping eyes on sensitive social media posts and as soon as any Bangladeshi is suspected, we are arresting, taking action,” said SP.

Though Govt of India did not deliver any clear statement regarding the issue and Tripura CM Dr. Manik Saha asked people to leave the issue to the Govt of India because it’s an issue between two nations and not internal, but on social media, a section of people continue to post on the issue and sometimes, fake, unverified information are also shared.
