The chief minister rushed to the GB hospital where the students were admitted after they complained sickness. One student is suffering from fever, I have asked the medical team and the administration to take all the necessary action which need to be taken. Mass Food Poisoning among students after | AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): CPI-M student wings SFI, TSU visited GB hospital and talked to the students who were admitted after mass food poisoning on Thursday. A large number of Bodhjung Girls’ Higher Secondary school students fell sick after having hostel food. Maharaja Bir Bikram Welfare Society hostel students had daal and rice in the morning and reached school on time but soon after reaching the school, students at a large number started suffering from extreme stomach ache. They were rushed to the GB hospital and many remained seriously ill. An insect was found inside the water bottle under the name of “Fresh” company. People demanded a probe into the whole matter and asked the government to ensure public health safety. Later this complaint came to the Bishalgarh sub-district administration office, as the company is located in Bishalgarh.
