AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): Assam-Agartala national highway has left in deplorable condition across Atharomura.
As part of this initiative NHDCL was entrusted with the responsibility for widening of Assam Agartala National Highway No. 8 and National Highway Maintenance, but before the onset of the monsoon season, the dilapidated state of the national highway raised questions over the role of the NHDCL.
The worst situation is in the area of ??36 miles, 44 miles, 39 miles, 46 miles etc. belonging to Atharomura Hills.
Assam Agartala National Highway in those area has turned miserable due to lack of maintenance and poor quality construction.
When talking to the common people, they expressed disappointment over the everyday roadway pathos, whereas the daily goers are the worst sufferers.
From the common passengers to the drivers of small and large vehicles have demanded that effective action should be taken quickly to repair the roads as it’s risking the chances of accidents.
