AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): Agartala city on Tuesday suffered due to heavy water-logging problems, caused by a few hours of rain.

Vehicle movements were paralyzed in various parts of the city and people were forced to walk through knee-level water which was mixed with dirty muddy and garbage-mixed water.

Amid Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) workers’ continuous effort to discharge the water, for hours, the city sank under water.

Hundreds of families were stuck inside homes as water entered their houses, dismantling everything.
