One more Jolt for Tripura Govt : High Co | AGARTALA / NEW DELHI May 16 (TIWN): One after one jolts for BJP led Tripura Govt, as after TCS, TPS now Tripura High Court has ordered State Govt to appoint interview passed Dept of Economic and Statistics job aspirants. The petition was filed in support of filling up the posts for which recruitment started in the Dept in 2016 and also the process of recruitment was completed by 2017 but BJP Govt had cancelled all the ongoing recruitment process including completed the completed recruitment processes. The recruitment process was completed in 2017 but due to Assembly Election 2018 the joining process was stopped but after coming in power BJP Govt cancelled all ongoing recruitments including appointments like Statistic Depts. High Court in a verdict has asked the State Govt to complete the appointments within 8 months. The interview process had started in 2016 and within 2017 it was almost completed. Challenging Tripura BJP Govt’s illegal cancellation of recruitment, TCS/ TPS job aspirants appealed in the High Court. A writ petition was filed by one Samudra Debbarma (a TCS/TPS job aspirant) and High Court in a verdict has ordered Tripura Govt to complete the recruitment process within 8 months. At the same time, High Court also said that new recruitment policy will not be effective to the previous Govt led ongoing recruitment. Supreme Court asks Left Parties to file | NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, May 14 (TIWN): Supreme Court of India has suggested Left Parties to file re-poll related case in Tripura High Court first instead of directly filing at the Supreme Court. According to the suggestion of the Supreme Court, tomorrow the case will be filed by the MP in the High Court. In a press note, CPI-M state committee member Haripada Das said, “Today the petition filed by MP Sankar Prasad Dutta demanding total re-poll was heard in the Supreme Court. Justice Indira Banerjee and Sanjib Khanna heard the petition. P V Dinesh, advocate of MP Sankar Prasad Dutta told the court that the Election Commission document itself talks about the massive rigging on 11th April. Justices have asked the petitioner first to file in the High Court at first.
