AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 16 (TIWN): Central Election Commission of India (ECI) will hold a meeting with Congress leaders’ at the Delhi office regarding Tripura poll-rigging matter, in a press conference Congress MP candidate Subal Bhowmik said.
ECI has called the Congress leaders after the party filed a case in Supreme Court of India demanding total re-poll.
Congress top leader advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Jairam Ramesh and State Congress President Pradyot Manikya will visit ECI to hold the meeting.
The demand of re-poll is for the whole West Tripura constituency where on 11th April massive rigging was conducted by BJP.
Election Commission announced 168 booths re-polling whereas around 1200 booths are spotted as rigged.
Both CPI-M and Congress have gone through the legal process demanding re-poll.
