AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): Just like Tripura election turned an open theater of criminals, massive tension, road blockade, criminal style rioting back in 2017, now West Bengal is also suffering from similar situation, even though BJP has successfully created an anti-incumbency against Mamata Banerjee Govt to an extent. In Tripura either IPFT’s road blockade or massive protest centering journalists murders, Anuara Chowhdury murder erupted, but as soon as BJP came in power protest led massive arrest and today Tripura Election has become a “shame” for the state’s electoral history. Various national media have reported that BJP is rising in Bengal. In Tripura with various JUMLA and fake promises BJP came in power and after coming in power BJP simple forgot the given promises, rather freedom of speech have been attempted to be snatched again and again, attacks on media and press increased 3 times more than the previous Govt. But before the election just like now West Bengal, Tripura’s situation turned similarly violent with dozens of unknown murders.Even though video proofs are evident, but a great section of people still believe that the Vidyasagar statue was demolished by TMC only. Such blind-trusts over BJP happened before 2018 election too.

Tripura election was rigged, booths were captured 100% and thus oppositions are now battling for re-poll. This is the situation of Tripura within 1 year of the Govt.

Both CPI-M and Congress have filed case in the Supreme Court and High Court demanding re-poll.

On yesterday, after Congress filed case in Supreme Court, Election Commission of India (ECI) had called the Congress leaders’ for a meeting today. Meeting was called after Congress filed a case demanding total re-poll in the Supreme Court of India.Congress top leader advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Jairam Ramesh and State Congress President Pradyot Manikya have reportedly visited ECI to hold the meeting.Already reports are viral that re-poll chances are high, even though ECI has not announced anything yet. The party had organized a massive protest against the ongoing attacks upon Congress supporters in Tripura centering the Lok Sabha Election.

West Tripura Poll was held on 11th April with 100% booth capturing, voters prevention and massive rigging. When opposition demanded re-poll only 168 booths were announced for re-poll. Now both opposition parties in Tripura are striving for a Total Re-Poll.
